1948 (04) Silver Wedding - Pair of Matching Jerseycraft Ltd Display Text covers - Huddersfield CDS + Slogan

Amazing Pair of matching Jerseycraft Ltd Display Text covers...

Huddersfield CDS on the £1 stamp + a Wavy Line Slogan on the 2½d stamp........ Sent to themselves with a matching typed address..... maybe to give out to staff or customers, that's the sort of thing they did in those days....

I've looked them up and the premises they were in was a MILL - the building appears to still exist, but not as a Mill - seems to be split into lots of smaller industrial units, but at least it's still there...

Jerseycraft Ltd of Huddersfield however are not.......... I've had 'blocks of four' covers on these, but those quickly sold - these single stamp versions are all that I have left....
