Scarce First Day of Use 'Stamp Centre' Special for the new 'Smartstamp' Service.

The Stamp Centre was the ONLY FDC Dealer to service this new service correctly.... You had to install the programme, set it up, register your account and pay an advance sum into the account....

Because the service allowed three days to actually hand the post into the Post Office, there 'strikes' didn't give the correct 'First Day', so The Stamp Centre Doubled the covers with their sponsored H/S with the CORRECT Date.... no-one else did this....

Four different versions were produced.... this is the Stamp Centre 'Logo' version....
