Astonishing Holmes Tolley 'Multi-Cancelled' Special.

This is a rare item.... I still to this day do not know how on earth Holmes Tolley managed to get this done in 1965 - it wasn't supposed to be allowed !!!

They did 30 of these covers - this is number 15 (numbered on the rear)... ALL the 1965 stamp issues, each cancelled by a relevant postmark for that issue....... For example, Arts with the Stratford upon Avon CDS, Parliament with the Evesham FDI, Churchill with the Bladon FDI, I could go on but the scan shows them all.....

This cover is listed - it's Cat £999, so not to be sniffed at...........
