Excellent Philart cover.

Every example of this scarce CDS I've seen has always been on the same Philart cover and addressed to Colonel Milner, so I'm guessing that only he serviced the covers, but he certainly knew what he was doing when he did them !

If you don't know what the link is: Lawrence was summoned to Windsor in 1789 to paint Queen Charlotte and where his 24 full-length portraits of the military leaders of the Holy Alliance now hang in the Waterloo Chamber, Windsor Castle. These 24 paintings were the backbone of his rise to fame.
