1979 (07) Year Of The Child - Conwy Valley Railway/Llechwedd Slate Caverns Cover

Highly unsual cover - This needs a bit of explaining I think - This started out life as a single stamp Post Office cover with the Alice in Wonderland, Llandudno H/S.

Then, because the Llechwedd Slate Caverns Railway was finally opened, they added a Llechwedd Slate Cavern Railway Letter Stamp, then cancelled that.

Then it was carried on the Conwy Valley Railway (by British Rail) from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Llandudno on the Centenary anniversary of THAT railway being opened......

So THREE separate events all on the one cover....
