1992 (10) Single Market - 1853 Gallery Saltair Official

Very scarce 1853 Gallery Saltair Official.

This one is a bit of a rarity - not because of the numbers produced, but because it's a bit longer than most covers, and doesn't fit into most FDC Albums, so most collectors either ignore it, or (even worse) fold it in two to put into the albums... leaving the cover with a monumental crease down the middle....

I've even seen this one cut in two with scissors, then sellotaped together, so they can fold it into the album pockets.... yup !!.. go figure..... Finding good ones of these is a bit like looking for the 'needle in the haystack' - they exist, but so bloomin hard to find......

In the last 25 years, I've only seen maybe 10-15 good ones, of the rest, well let's just say you really wouldn't want them in your FDC collection........

But - I do have this one (couple of very minor creases in the middle area mentioned for accuracy)....
