2011 (06) Thomas The Tank Engine (M/S) - St Edmunds Church Official - TRIPLE SIGNED

Superb St Edmunds Church, Emneth, Wisbech Official cover with a special 'artists painting' of the church, with the colourful and highly attractive 'Thomas The Tank Engine' Miniature Sheet cancelled by the Church Handstamp.

'Thomas The Tank Engine' was created by the Reverend W.V. Awdry (The vicar at this church) and became a world-wide children's story success.

The cover is signed by the three children of the Reverend Awdry - Chris, Veronica & Hilary Awdry. As far as we know, this (and the matching Stamps Cover) are the only FDC's that all three have signed.

These 'triple signed' covers were totally sold out at new issue time (as was the rest of the FDC's produced) and are extremely scarce, and highly sought after.
